Floral Terrace Keeps on Going

Hot off their short stint on the 2011 Vans Warped Tour, Floral Terrace has stuck to the road, continuing their small club tour across the U.S.

Three of these tour dates, from August 26 through 28, have been named “The Shortest Tour Ever.” Joining the band for this tour will be the Boston based band, Call Me Anything, and the Reading, PA based band, Atlantic Avenue.

On the Saturday, August 27 date, the band will be playing Meadowfest at the Dragonfly in Carlstadt, NJ. It is an all day FREE event. The festival also features the bands I Am Fighting, When Thieves are About, Atlantic Avenue, and Call Me Anything, as well as many other bands. In addition to music there will be BMX and motocross events, and paintball games. Doors open at 11 am.

Floral Terrace is following the Vans Warped Tour! For a select few dates they will be selling merchandise and meeting with fans. They have already completed a few dates with the tour and have already sold out of their EP. Their t-shirt sales have also been through the roof.

In addition to selling merch, the boys of Flo Teezy have been playing a few sets, and fans are loving it! With close to 9,500 followers on Twitter and over 10,500 fans on Facebook, these guys are quickly gaining popularity.

Buzzbin Magazine, a publication that covers the arts, news, and entertainment of Cleveland, Akron, and Canton, released a fantastic review of Ever Present, ofHuman’s new EP. 

“Amazing,” is what reviewer Carmen Rey called the EP. “It’s that rock sound that toes the border between rock and pop, and it does it very well.” Rey then goes into more detail about the album, ending the review by saying ofHuman is “an ever present force to be reckoned with.”

Floral Terrace Makes the Top 10 List on Purevolume!

Floral Terrace has done it! Their song “Save Me,” from their recent EP The Better Life, has made it to the number ten spot on the Purevolume Top Songs chart. The chart includes all genres as well as both signed and unsigned artists, making it a hard chart to top. The Better Life is also currently highlighted in Purevolume’s featured album rotation.

It seems as though nothing can stop these guys. Whether it’s their catchy songs or their energetic live performances, Floral Terrace has fans hooked and wanting more. According to the counter on Purevolume, the EP has had over 40,000 total plays. Today alone it has had 184 plays, and still counting.

The Chuck Touris East Coast Tour with Floral Terrace

It’s official! Floral Terrace is halfway through with their East Coast tour. Don’t worry though; you still have time to see them in a town near you. The Chuck Touris East Coast tour has five dates left in North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Joining them on tour is the Atlanta, Georgia based band Freshman 15.

ofHuman Summer 2011 Midwest Tour Dates

Columbus based rock band, ofHuman, set out this month on their summer Midwest tour, including three dates in Kentucky. They will be playing at The Brick Alley in Frankfort on June 24, the Third Street Dive in Louisville on June 25, and Cosmic Charlies in Lexington on June 27. The shows are 21+ with a $5 cover at the door. Doors open for all three shows at 9 pm.

Joining ofHuman on these dates are Pittsburgh, PA’s Twist Off Irony and Frankfort, KY’s Strip District.

After signing with Crushtone Music in 2010, band members Josh Mason (Vocals/Guitar), Adam Gilbert (Drums), Stephen Simmons (Bass/Backing Vocals), and Dave Tipple (lead Guitar) worked hard with producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Fiona Apple, Jack’s Mannequinn) to create Ever Present, which can now be purchased on iTunes. The album is loud, with a clean prog rock sound, and clear influences coming from Coheed and Cambria, A Perfect Circle, Megadeth and The Mars Volta. As altohio.com said, “the music is progressive and will resound with you for days.”

On Friday, May 27, they played a two-hour set at their EP release party at The Bluestone in Columbus, OH to over 400 fans. Their live sets are exciting and energetic; they leave everything on stage, always giving their all to give their fans a good show.
